Renee Liparulo, 53, of Olyphant, Pa., passed away peacefully at Hospice of Sacred Heart in Dunmore, Pa., on the morning of Dec. 29, 2023.
Born May 12, 1970, to the late Harold and Bernice Holbert of Nicholson, Pa. Renee was a graduate of Mountain View High School class of 1988 and worked at Specialty Records for 21 years. Growing up on a farm, Renee was an outdoors woman from a young age, and had a love for both animals and people alike. Despite many health challenges, Renee had a powerful zest for life and lived each day to the fullest. She was very passionate about camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Regardless how difficult life became, she was always determined to make the best out of every situation and bring a smile to everyone's faces with a dirty joke or a quick-witted remark. Renee will be deeply missed. She will be remembered for her passion, humor, and the joys and laughs she brought to her family, along with her underlying strength.
Renee is survived by her sisters, Teresa Harvey and husband, Joe, Clifford, Pa.; Lora Holbert, Olyphant, Pa.; Donna Middaugh and husband, Mike, Hunlock Creek, Pa.; and a brother, Harold Holbert and wife, Lynn, Olyphant, Pa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Renee was a force to be reckoned with and bought so much joy and happiness to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. We would like to offer a very special thank you to Teri Derenick Molinaro for her sincere dedication, friendship and care she has offered to Renee and family.
