It is with a heavy heart that Mary and I learned of the passing of our true friend Bob. We lived directly across the street from Rose and Bob for 32 years and were truly blessed to have such wonderful neighbors. I could not possibly enumerate the many occasions Bob helped me with odd jobs around my property, whether it was offering me important tips on how to proceed or lending me the appropriate tools to do
what needed to be done. That was Bob, always willing to help and never asking anything in return. Our thoughts are with you, Rose, at this difficult time and we hope that you find consolation in remembering the good times that we shared,

Rose, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Bob. You were both good neighbors when we lived on Fern Street. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

I had no idea Bob was 25 years older than me. Entering the working world, before college, I was a colleague of Bob's. He was kind and generous with his knowledge, training many of us who had been recently hired. We were treated as equals and embraced by him, Charlie, Joe, and Billy. He truly loved his wife, and if a remember correctly a small companion puppy, loved by both. As a sidebar, we were all paid well by Eureka, almost 40 years ago, wages above what some college grads make today. I've taken Bob's example of workplace kindness with me though life. Wish I had made the effort to look him up and thank him. Blessings from the heart to his wife.
