It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert Charles Constant announce his passing on March 11, 2022, at the age of 81 years.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Ann Donson and husband, Nick (Dickson City); niece, Joanne and husband, Attorney John Pesota (Dickson City); nephews, James Donson (of Virginia); and Robert and wife, Michelle Donson (New Jersey). He will also be missed by his grandnephews, Jonathan Pesota (Philadelphia); Christopher Pesota and fiancée, Dr. Emily Sewel, (both of Maryland); and grandnieces, Nicole Pesota (Dickson City) and Mia and Aubrey Donson (New Jersey). He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Charles and Anna Kaminsky Constant; and stepfather, John Constant.
Robert was born in Scranton, and was a proud graduate of Scranton Technical High School and Penn State University, which he attended in part on the GI Bill after honorably serving his country in the United States Army at Fort Devans, Mass. He spent the majority of his career with the Boy Scouts of America and Superior Door Company and, most recently, as a crossing guard for the Mid Valley School District. Robert's passions were fishing and hunting, which he shared with his nephews and great-nephews from their earliest years.
