Robert F. Misko, 84, of Carbondale, died Sunday at the Forest City Nursing Home after a brief stay. He is survived by his wife, the former Rosalie B. Mussari. They were married on July 12, 1958.
Born March 15, 1937, in Eynon, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Douches Misko. Bob was a graduate of Archbald High School and had retired from Weston Instruments in Archbald. He was the owner of the former Bob's Variety Store which was located on Main Street in Carbondale, and was also associated with the former Corner Bistro Restaurant in Carbondale. Bob was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale.
He is survived by three children, Barbara Cwikla and husband, Ronald, Taylor; Blenda Liuzzo and husband, Rick, Greenfield Twp.; and Rob Misko, Carbondale; five grandchildren, Laecy Heptig, Brandi Cwikla, Dominque Liuzzo, Rory Misko and Liam Misko; five great-grandchildren, Darian, Alyvia, Jake, Lucy and Rosy; a sister; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook St., Carbondale. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.
Friends may call Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.
