Rose Ludka Obituary
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Marianne Raymond Garofalo. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School class of 1941, she was employed in the local garment industry before retirement.
Surviving are daughters, Mary Ann Tomasetti, Connecticut; Linda Malinoski, Dunmore; Susan Connors, Scranton; and Diane Ludka and life partner, Glenn Heusner, Scranton; grandchildren, Neil Tomasetti and wife, Rossana; Jeffrey Tomasetti and wife, Connie; Michael Connors and partner, Tracy Archer; Courtney Krulikowski and husband, James; and Michele Connors; great-grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jared and Gabriella Tomasetti, Sophia and Gianna Connors; and nephew, John Reilly.
She was also preceded in death by son-in-law, David Malinoski; and sister, Angelina Reilly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, St. Paul of the Cross Parish, 1217 Prospect Ave., Scranton. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends and family may pay their respects Monday from 9 until Mass time at the church.
Funeral services are under the care of the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton. Please visit the funeral home website to leave an online condolence.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom...I guess you could say she was like a mom to me too....along with all the kids who she would so lovingly let "hang out" in front of her house. She made my growing up years so special.
