It is just so painful when one remembers the vitality of Shirley...such a lovely, elegant, sweet woman. She and her sister Ruth had the best 'legs' in town....always teased them about that.

Dear Al and all of Shirley's family,
We were saddened to learn of Shirley's death and send you our condolences. From the time we met over 40 years ago , Shirley was always warm and welcoming , with a ready smile. Shug's brisket and Shug's coffee cake are recipes that live on in our family and we find pleasure that her presence is felt in this way .
May you feel comforted by the love you shared and the many memories.

With love
Susan and Hugh
