Sylvia Colvin Obituary
Born in Walton, N.Y., on March 26, 1924, the daughter of the late Leon J. and Mabel E. Stevens Conklin, she was a graduate of Hallstead High School, class of 1942, a member of the Factoryville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Factoryville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to the Wyoming County Senior Center. She loved to do arts, crafts and quilting. She owned and operated Sylvia's Hair salon in Factoryville for over 40 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Carl Conklin of Williamsport and Robert Conklin of Factoryville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Bea Frey, Mae Barnes and Betty Gennarelli; and two brothers, David and Leon Conklin.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc., 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville, with Pastor T.J. McCabe officiating. Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Factoryville United Methodist Church, 162 College Ave., Factoryville, PA 18419.

We are so sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing, and send our condolences to the family. We were lucky enough to be neighbors, even though it was only for a short while. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Please accept our condolences at this time. Sylvia was a dear lady. Good neighbor and nice person. She did my hair for my wedding almost 50 years ago. Would often see her out at the stores or at the Bluebbird. She will be missed.
