Theresa M. (Gruttadauria) Pasqualicchio, 87, of Dunmore, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at the Jewish Home in Scranton. Surviving is her husband, Louis. The couple would have celebrated 66 years of marriage in September.
Born June 9, 1935, in Dunmore, she was the daughter of late Gaetano and Theresa Gruttadauria. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School, class of 1953, and the last surviving member of the Gruttadauria family, which included 12 children.
Theresa had worked in several area businesses, including Knoepfel and Miller, from which she retired. She had a heart of gold and lived a full, happy life. She was a faithful member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish.
Theresa is also survived by her sons, Louis and wife, Karen, Dunmore, and Thomas and wife, Mary Beth, Clarks Summit; five grandchildren, Louis and wife, Carolyn, Lauren Maxwell and husband, Lester, Michael Pasqualicchio and Lauren Holovack, Theresa Kennedy and husband, Timothy, and Victoria Pasqualicchio; nine great-grandchildren, Anastasia Maxwell, Stephanie Maxwell, Abygail Ralston, Johnathon Maxwell, Avery Pasqualicchio, Sebastian Maxwell, Robyn Maxwell, Michael Pasqualicchio and Damian Maxwell; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore.
Interment, Dunmore Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.
