Thomas Mulderig Obituary

Thomas "Muldoon" Mulderig, 79, of Blakely, died Sunday evening at home. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen (Mackachinis) Mulderig.

Born in Blakely, and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Francis and Thelma (Thomas) Mulderig.

He graduated from Blakely High School, class of 1962, and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Tom served as a Military Police Provas Marshall Investigator during Vietnam and received the Asian Occupation Medal and Expert Rifle badge. He was a life member of the Jessup VFW Post 5544 and a regular member of the Dickson City American Legion post 0665. He retired from Valley View School District Maintenance Department.

Tom will be missed by all but his buddy Dr. Dallas, his black Labrador, will miss him terribly. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Also surviving are his son, Sean Patrick Mulderig and wife Denise; brother-in-law, Joseph Mackachinis; his grandchildren, Damien and Molly Mulderig and step- grandsons, Mark and Chris Kramer.

The funeral will be on Saturday with Military honors performed at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Blakely. Viewing hours will be on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St. Jessup.
