I´m so sad to learn of Doc´s passing. I had the good fortune to be one of his patients for nearly 30 years. He was a wonderful dentist because of his artistry for the craft, and especially because of his genuine kindness and caring for his patients. My heart goes out to his family, along with my deepest sympathies.

Tommy was a great dentist and caring person. When I was young and behind the eight ball Tommy would take care of my dental needs no questions asked. This is a huge loss for the community, but more importantly the Simrell family. God bless his kind family and hope he rests in peace.
Thanks Tom.

Tom and better known as Doc was wonderful and genuine person. Better than that he was a wonderful and better dentist. I was one of his first patients when he started his practice at the Times building back in the early 80´s. When I move out of Scranton in 1987 I continued to travel up the turnpike by myself and later with my daughter till he retired. I was told I was nuts for doing it but I said to everyone whoever said that to me that I loved having him as a dentist and better yet as a dear friend. I trusted him with whatever recommendation he made to me taking care of my teeth. I am shocked at his passing and he will be dearly missed. My condolences to all his family but especially to his fiancé and son. God Rest Your Soul Tom. Rest In Piece My Dear Friend. There will never be another Dentist like Tom. He was the best Dentist I have ever had.
