Warren Tayburn Obituary
Born May 24, 1938, in Somerville, N.J., son of the late Charles and Violet (Philhower) Tayburn, Warren was a resident of Pennsylvania for the last 40 years. Before his retirement, he was employed as a butcher with David Elliott Poultry Inc.
Warren was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed baking wonderful goodies for his family. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Surviving are his son, Warren Tayburn Jr., Madison Twp.; two daughters, Glenda Witt and husband, Mike, Mississippi; and Doreen Kruchinski and husband, Tony, Moscow; a brother, Richard Tayburn, Rome, N.Y.; a sister, Ruth Edick, Boonville, N.Y.; a stepson, Blane Skelton and wife, Carolann, Lake Ariel; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Skelton, Lake Ariel; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, a step-great-granddaughter, nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his former wife and caregiver, Faith Wharton, with whom he resided.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth, Frances, Shirley and Esther; and five brothers, William, Walter, Phillip, Thomas, and twin brother, Wendell.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 7 p.m. in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church St., Moscow, with the Rev. Patricia Lee as officiating clergy.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's choice.

I love u with all my heart and soul, U were the best at almost everything, A jack of all trades,If it needed fixing u would have it done in no time,, Im gonna miss baking cakes,cupcakes, n anything else we made togeather, Im so happy u got to meet Michelle,she loved u so much,I miss how u would always say when u getting married,when u gonna have a kid, well i have a daughter n im glad u got to be here to meet her and love her

thank u so much poppy, u were and still are a great grandfather, i loved how u were always asking me when i was gonna get married, n have a kid,im just sorry u didnt get to see me get married, but at least u got to meet ur great grandaughter michelle, she loved u so much as i do, kyle is so sad tht u r gone he thought of u as a grandfather how u would always call him carl instead of kyle, im gonna miss going swimming with u, and picking cans, and u teaching me how to cook, the last thing we did togeather was u teaching me to make a cake and make cupcakes,,,, i love u so much poppy u will never be forgotten ever, me and kyle and michelle and the whole family miss u like crazy already,im just glad u r out of pain. love callie n kyle a.k.a (carl) lol

Thank you pop for being a huge part of my life. Thank you for having a big heart even while being tuff. Thank you for the good times, all the fishing trips, the laughs and smiles. Rideing in your car listening to that ridiculous cassette tape you always played. The circus peanuts you would surprise us with I remember they were your favorite. The handshakes with the weird finger rubbing thing lol. Its the little stuff you did and showed me that made me love you so much. Thank you for everything I'll never forget you. I'll see you again.
