It is with great sadness that the family of William J. Davis of Clarks Green, Pa. announce his passing on April 16, 2023.
Born in Nanticoke, Bill was the son of the late William H. and Beatrice Morgan Davis. He graduated from Central High School and the University of Scranton. Bill served in the United States Army, then had a long career with Philips Electronics in the U.S. and Mexico. He was a dedicated family man, a connoisseur of wine and fine spirits, a classic car enthusiast, and a gifted letter-writer.
Bill is survived by his beloved family, Patricia Gayle Killeen Davis, his wife of 56 years; and his daughter, Nicole Tracy Davis.
He is also survived by his brother, Trevor and wife, Palmira; his brother, Keith and wife, Nancy; his sisters-in-law, Peg Ann Eagen and Connie Killeen; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
