Marine City
Arthur H. Rupersburg, 84, of Marine City, entered eternal life on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was born August 7, 1932 in Detroit to the late John and Anastasia Rupersburg. Arthur served his country honorably in the U.S. Marie Corps. He married Mary Marsack on December 30, 1958 in Ohio. She preceded him in death on October 9, 2006. Arthur retired as an electrician from the IBEW Local #58. He and his wife enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Paradise, Michigan. He was a life time member of the St. Clair Shores VFW Post and a member of Our Lady on the River Parish.
He is survived by his children, John Van Camp of Mt. Clemens, Alice Van Camp of New York, Cynthia (Prabhas) Singh of Washington and a daughter-in-law, Alma Van Camp of Harrison Twp., five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Rupersburg and Irene Bantle; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Karen Marsack. In addition to his parents and wife, Arthur was also preceded in death by a son, James Van Camp and two brothers, John and Fred.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 24, 2017 at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Church, Marine City with visitation from 10:30 am until time of mass.
