Berty L. Zauner

Berty L. Zauner Port Huron Berty Lou Zauner, 83, of Port Huron, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Marwood Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 24, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Anne Dove, Sr. Berty worked in the office at REA Express, Custom Brokerage and Can Am for a total of 30 years combined. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards, shopping and reading. She is survived by five daughters, Catherine (Martin) Smith of Opdyke, Illinois, Mary Jane Zauner of Port Huron, Ann (Tim) Smith of Cheboygan, Joy Zauner of Port Huron and Peggy Sue (Travis) Hiner of Harlowton, Montana; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Zauner; a son, David Zauner; two brothers, Charles G. Dove, Jr. and E. Emery Dove; two sisters, Frances Klohn and Azilda Worden. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron. Memorials may be made to Blue Water Humane Society.
