 Bonnie Lou Thornton, 63, of Port Huron died Friday, November 29, 2013 after a long illness.

She was born August 22, 1950 in Port Huron and graduated from P.H.H.S.   She retired in 2004 from United Technologies after 28 years of service.   She loved her grandkids, gardening and crafting and had volunteered with the March of Dimes for many years.

She is survived by  two daughters, Shyann  Null and Jennifer Guertin, both of Port Huron; five grandchildren, Sierra, Valerie & Natalie Friend, and Kerrigan & Bennett Guertin;  her brother, Roger (Cheryl) Thornton; a special aunt, Roberta Scheffler; four nephews; and her wonderful friends, Janie Wehrwein, Joanne Kliemann, Helen Niles, Shirley Bishop & Kathy Kenner.  She was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Keegan Daniel Guertin, a brother Eugene W. Thornton, her twin sister & brother-in-law, Linda Sue & Daniel Fleury and a niece.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service.

Burial will be in Lakeport Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the march of Dimes or the S.I.D.S. Foundation.
