Bruce Ruttan Obituary
Clay Township - Bruce A. Ruttan, 71 of Clay Township entered eternal life on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born in Algonac on May 28, 1946 to the late William and Mary Ruttan. He married Ella Glover on February 7, 1970. Bruce served his country honorably in the United States Army as a tank driver. After his service he worked as a steel worker and went on to hold a long-standing career as a press operator at several companies including Photographic Support Inc., where he retired. He was known to be a hard worker and was always determined to get the job done. Bruce is survived by his children, Tina (Jody) Elrod of Algonac, Jennifer Boggs of Algonac, Bruce Ruttan of Algonac, and William (Tara) Ruttan of Marine City; seven grandchildren, Michael Boggs, Emily Boggs, Nicole Elrod, Dominic Ruttan, Cory Ruttan, Elizabeth Ruttan, and Maitlin Ruttan; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Ruttan, Howard Ruttan, and Terry Ruttan; and three sisters, Rose Cuthbertson, Helen Shook, and Chris Ruttan. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ella Ruttan in February of 1998; and 4 siblings. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with a prayer service held at 6:00pm in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City.
