Charles F. Schneider

Marysville - Charles Frederick Schneider, 78, of Marysville, died Monday, July 12, 2021.

He was born January 27, 1943 in Port Huron to the late Christian and June Schneider. He married Phyllis Leaym Stephens on August 18, 1967 in Port Huron.

Charles enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, crafts and spending time with his family. He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis; children, Charles (Kim) Schneider, Candice (Dan) Hart, Anthony Stephens, Fredrick Stephens, Susan Stephens, Vince Stephens, Edward (Karen) Stephens, Howard (Sharon) Stephens and Tracy (Mathew) Knaack; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Suellen Emig, Edward (Melody) Schneider, Linda (John) Downing, Jane (Mark) Dennis, Mary Leitch, Tom (Joy) Schneider and Jimmy (Sue) Schneider; sister-in-law, Beverly Schneider; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his children, Michael Stephens and Cathy Snodgrass; siblings, John (Janet) Schneider, Careen Schneider and David Schneider; and brothers-in-law, Robert Emig and Jim Leitch.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, July 16, 2021 in Allied Veterans Cemetery, Port Huron. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
