Isabelle Lester Obituary

Isabelle Lester Fort Gratiot Mrs. Isabelle Lester, 83, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, April 11, 2011 in Regency On The Lake, Fort Gratiot. She was born June 15, 1927 in Port Huron to the late John and Isabella Kerr. Mrs. Lester worked at Riverside Metal Products for over 13 years and in her younger years worked at Port Huron Hospital as a Dietician. She enjoyed her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Julie (Alan) Greenia, Mary L. Baur and Kathy (Jim) Noel; two sons, Ed (Vicki) Lester and Terry Lester; seven grandchildren, Todd Greenia, Lisa (Matt) Warren, Dawn Kozicki, Debbie Kruskie, Chad Kruskie, Jason Lester, and Gerry Lynn (Frank) Eros; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; a brother, Robert (Phyllis) Kerr; and many nieces and nephews. Isabelle is preceded in death by her son, Dale Lester; and four brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron with visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Julie, Kathy & Mary, I am so very sorry about Issy. I spent many hours with her at Riverside and had many good laughs with her!
