Jeanette J. Quandt, age 82, died January 18, 2015 in Marwood Nursing and Rehab after a long illness.  She was born June 14, 1932 in Lexington and lived in Port Huron for most of her life.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Quandt, a son, James D. Quandt, and a brother, Ken Turk.  Jeanette was a longtime member of the Salvation Army in Port Huron.

She is survived by 5 children, Diane (Jim) Goldberg, Bonnie Quandt, Sandy (Mike) Forbes, Jack (Mary) Quandt, Jeff (Maureen) Quandt, 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a daughter-in-law, Vickie Ressler.

A funeral service will take place at 1 PM Thursday in the Smith Family Funeral Home - North, 1525 Hancock Street with the Rev. Max Amstutz officiating.  Burial will follow in Elk Township Cemetery.  Visitation will also be on Thursday beginning at 11 AM until the service begins at 1 PM.  Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.  www.smithfamilyfuneralhome.com.
