Lillian Gilbert Obituary
Buel Township - Lillian I. Gilbert, 72, of Port Sanilac formerly of Port Huron, passed away on November 29, 2018 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born on August 13, 1946 in Port Huron, daughter of the late William and Nettie Morden.
Lillian married Clifford A. Gilbert. He passed away on 2004.
She graduated from Port Huron High School. Lillian was a longtime employee of Troy Cleaners and Sanilac County HDC. She enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities. Lillian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Lillian is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William (Susan) Gilbert of Lexington; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne (Shelly) Gilbert of Kimball; son, Gregory Gilbert of Croswell; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Gilbert.
A memorial service will be 5:00pm Thursday, December 13, 2018, in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Pastor Scott Stapleford will officiate. Visiting hours will be 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the funeral home. Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family with arrangements.
