Patrick Kercher Obituary
Port Huron - Patrick J. Kercher, age 51, of Port Huron died unexpectedly of a heart attack while on vacation with his friends and his future fiancé. He was born March 4, 1967 in Southfield and lived most of his life in Port Huron. Pat graduated in 1985 from Port Huron Northern. He was active in the theatre community, as well as the running community in the Blue Water area. Pat was an I.T. Manager at Intertape Polymer Group. He enjoyed travel and was an avid Tigers fan.
He is survived by his 3 children, Andrew, Ellie, and Evan Kercher, his sister, Molly Kercher, his niece, Taylor Moran, and the woman he planned to marry, Arlene Gray. Pat was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Kercher, and his father, James Kercher.
A funeral service will take place at 10 AM Friday at the Smith Family Funeral Home - North, 1525 Hancock Street. A graveside committal service will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters. www.smithfamilyfuneralhome.com.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Pat Kercher. I went to high school with Pat at PH Northern and am so incredibly sad to hear of his passing. Pat was an incredibly kind and funny man with such a compassionate soul. He will be missed greatly.
