Rick is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Melvin Gerow) Hoag, siblings Vicki (Robert) Hanes, Michael (Kim) Hoag, former wife Gail Hoag, best friend Smokey, and many nieces and nephews Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 11, 2011 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Rick worked many years as custodian at Algonquin Middle School. He was a good friend to everyone. He was often taken advantage of. The last few years have been hard on Rick. He was planning to move up north, and was working to get his place winterized. My brother and the other guys will miss him.
