Robert Sangret Obituary
Burtchville Township
Robert F. Sangret, age 62, of Burtchville Township, passed away on June 9, 2014, in his home, unexpectedly. He was born on June 18, 1951, in Mt. Clemens. He married Nancy (Sue) Gaines, she preceded him in death on June 6, 2000.
He was a former employee of Barton -Mallow and retired from Yale Steel. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as helping others.
He is survived by step-daughters; Cheri Duffy of Detroit and Cindi (David) Dortman of Burtchville, step-son; Paul (Jinyun) Duffy of Novi, parents; Raymond and Lucille Sangret of St. Clair Shores, two grandchildren; Avery Dortman and Molly Sue Dortman, brothers; Henry (Joanne) Sangret of St. Clair Shores, Jim Sangret of St. Clair Shores, sister; Sue (John) Colomina of Macomb, mother-in-law; Marjie Eckhout of Clinton Township, along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 3:00pm in the Jowett Funeral Home - 1634 Lapeer Ave. at 17th St., Port Huron. Pastor Dennis Cook of Restoration Station will officiate. Visiting will be from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm.
