I know that a great deal of what I am came directly from this extraordinary woman who gave me up for adoption when I was just an infant. I will be ever grateful that I got to know her and care for her after our long separation. And that she got to know two more of her grandchildren as well. A life well and fully lived, Mother. Rest in peace.

Aunt Burtie,
You have ever been, and will ever remain in my life, a most powerful example of faith in Christ, a beacon through which His Light has shown, as I pray to be also. You lit up my life; your light has not left me though, nor will it.
I have missed, will continue to miss this wonderfully eccentric soul, warts and all!
Thank you to all our relation, from your children to the youngest who knew you, for sharing Wilburta Jean Snitchler with me, her niece.
