Dear Mrs. Gaw and family,
I am the son of Charles N. Jowett formally of Port Huron. When I was just a small boy my dad did all the repairs on Bill's ice cream truck. I remember that Bill would only allow my dad to do all the repairs. I would get to go with Dad to Lee's gas station to work on the truck and Bill always spoke to me and always joked around, he was so much fun to be around to a kid my age. Before and after we lost my dad, Bill bought us ice cream on every Christmas. It became an exciting tradition to me and my siblings. His faithful support meant so much to my family and he will remembered because I still speak of him at the holidays and my family will always know of him as the "Ice Cream Man". Just before I moved my family to Sheridan, WY I had spoke with Bill several times and we were able to laugh at the good times and memories we both shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely,
Max Brockdorff
