Dolly Troxler Obituary
She was the wife of the late William "Bill" Carroll Troxler.
Dolly was the assistant office Manager for Roses until she retired. She loved her dogs "Sandy" and "Libbie" and spending time with her family. Dolly was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Gary Troxler and wife, Sheri of Elon; grandchildren, Wesley Troxler of Elon, Kelly Mathews and husband, Scott of Cherry Grove, SC, Sarah Troxler and Jenny Troxler both of Elon; great grandchildren, Amelia Jane Mathews and Skyler Rae Troxler; brother-in-law, Earl Troxler and wife, Janet of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Steve Troxler and parents, Stonewall McGruder and Minnie Mae Jones Wilburn; sisters, Esther Oakley, Maude Woody, Jennie Upchurch and Mary R. Gravitt; brothers, Ryland, Lambert, Willie and Lewis Wilburn.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mike Mitchner and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My Mama, Katie did Dolly's hair for as long as I can remember. Roses was my first job so I knew her at work as well. But my real connection was through Mama, I still remember those two talking and laughing like crazy. I have often thought of her, I saw her once after Mama and my sister were killed. All we could do was hug and cry.
She holds a special place in my heart and will never be forgot.
