So sorry to hear about "Big D". I know it's been a long time, but the Gilmores were always so hospitable and made me feel like a part of the family for many years. We had great times playing golf together - will never forget the time he was having a terrible golf game, he hit a shot and bounced off a metal grate into the woods. We were all quiet for a split second and then everyone, including Big D, just burst into laughter. Probably my favorite Mr. G. story. Love to all of you.

To my friends, The Gilmores,
Can't you just imagine heaven now...."Big D" and "Crunch" together again with no pain. Life will never be the same for us without our two great guys, but we sure do have some wonderful memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
With much Love,
Darlene

Dear Gilmores,
I am so very sorry to hear about Mr. Gilmore's passing. Dave was such a great friend to my father throughout both of their lives – it meant so much to my dad to stay in touch with, and remain close to, his childhood buddies. I have such great memories of visits to your house when I was a kid – and more recently, of going to the legendary Gilmore summer pool parties. You will all be in my thoughts in the days ahead - you have my sincerest condolences. Jason.

It truly saddens Scott and I to hear the news about Mr. Gilmore. We have such fond memories of him at your summer parties, his tax advice and him and that crazy dog Nikki. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Gilmore, Lisa, Sean & Mark and the whole family, especially your amazing kids who won't have their amazing grandfather. Love & condolences - Scott, Hillary, Matthew, Christopher & Hallie Hansen
