Jean Adamkiewicz Hrynka Obituary
GRAHAM - Mrs. Jean Adamkiewicz Hrynka, 92, of 309 Old Farm Drive, Graham, died on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington.
A native of Hudson County, NJ, she was the wife of the late Joseph Hrynka and the daughter of Stanley Adamkiewicz and Mary Reychanech Adamkiewicz, both deceased. She was a homemaker and formerly served as President of the Kernodle Senior Center in Burlington. Mrs. Hrynka was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Burlington.
Survivors include a daughter, Christine Morrison of Graham; six grandchildren, Melissa Wood (Charlie Bauserman), Maureen Cawa (Sam), Richard J. Morrison (Patty Scotten), Christopher Morrison (Angela), Jean Arlea Ericksen (Christopher) and Lynn Wood; nine great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rebecca Wood, Ashley and Lindsay Cawa, Kelsey, Garrett and Bayleigh Morrison, Carrie DeLuca and Will Scotten; and one son in law, Michael Arlea. She was predeceased by one daughter, Cynthia Arlea; one sister and four brothers.
There will be a private mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and entombment with her beloved husband Joseph at the mausoleum at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport, New Jersey.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham.
