Joshua Fuqua Obituary

Josh Fuqua, 34, of 5699 Walters Mills Road, Providence, NC went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2020 at SOVAH Hospital, Danville, Virginia after several years of declining health.

Josh was born in Alamance County on April 19, 1986, a son of Thomas Lea Fuqua (Diane) of Mebane, NC and Sharon Carter Fuqua of Providence, NC. Josh was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey Senior High School, Class of 2004. He earned his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. Josh has completed his Master's Degree from Liberty University and Ed. S Degree. He was also well into completing his PhD in Organizational Administration. Josh was currently employed with the Caswell County Public School System as a Science Teacher at Dillard Middle School. He was dedicated to the students of Caswell County where he was a friend and tutor to better their education. He was always involved in all sports activities with the students. Josh attended Providence Baptist Church.

A graveside service for Josh will be conducted on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. Jerry Flood at Graham Memorial Park, 1402 East Gilbreath Street, Graham, N. C. 27253. The family will be at the residence of his father, Thomas Fuqua, 6454 NC Hwy 119 South, Mebane, N.C. 27302. Wrenn-Yeatts Yanceyville Chapel is respectfully serving the Fuqua family.
