Madelon, Missed posting on your birthday and Christmas, now coming up on the anniversary of your departure eight years ago. It has been another one of those years. We said good-by to George in June after a long battle with cancer, hoping you, mom and George are dancing in fields of glory. We lost one and gained a couple, guess that's life. Your brother and Lisa got married and Robert Henry and Tori gave us a beautiful little girl Wynter Lynn as we end this year. Your children and grandchildren are doing wonderful. Those grandchildren of yours are adorable, your name's sake Blake Madelon is a lot like you. We miss you all so much, can't begin to tell you how painful it is. George's Obituary is not like yours where I can post pictures and write notes to you. We don't really know what Heaven is like, but I hope you all know how much we miss and love you.

Madelon, we are coming up on a new year, 2024. Unfortunately, New´s Day has never been a joyous time since you left us on January 1, 2016. This past year has been a challenge for all of us in various ways. One of the brighter notes for 2023 was that your children and grandchildren visited us in Texas back in the spring. Dillon and Mason have both built new homes at the farm and are doing well. Mason has even started his own business, you would be proud of both of them. And your brother has ask Lisa to marry him. Although we have some challenges that face us for 2024, we are blessed. We are forever missing and loving you!

Merry Christmas Madelon! We miss you and mom to help us celebrate this special time of the year. I was grateful that everyone was able to be here this year. I don´t know what Christmas is like in Heaven but I´m sure it´s glorious. We love you.
Luke 2:10-11 "The angel reassured them. "Don´t be afraid!" he said. "I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior-yes, the Messiah, the Lord-has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!"

Alice and Tray laid dad to rest yesterday with mom. He was buried with Military Honors at the Fort Gibson National Cemetary. Dillon/Katie Mason/Rachel were able to fly in from NC for the service. Loren gave the eulogy and Shannon made a beautiful floral arrangement for the service. Loving and missing you always!

Cooper is such a good big brother and a very nice young man. I thought this was a great picture of all four of them.
Psalm 127:3-5
Behold, children are a gift of the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one´s youth.
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

How appropriate these words came to me today: Your song will not end. The kindness you have shown. The wisdom you have shared. The love you have given. None of that will end. It will go on and on, passed like an heirloom of faith from person to person, not only of your own family, but between the countless others you have known, cared for, worked with, prayed for and respected. You have made music with your life. You have made a witness. The harmony you have embodied and the hope you have embraced will sing on after you, sing on into generations yet to come. Your vision will live in many hearts until one joyous day it joins the chorus of life that began when Spirit first started to sing.

My Dear Madelon,
Time has come for me to close the guest book and our journey together for the past two years.
The boys are doing well, you would be so proud of them. One of the biggest highlights over the pasted two years was having Dillon, Katie, Cooper, Mason, Rachel and Joey visit us in the spring last year. It was definitely a family reunion with the Dillon's, Krehbiel's and Nelson families, we missed you but knew you were with us in spirit.
You're still loved, still missed and always on our heart. May you rest in peace Madelon. Until I see you again, loving you always. Aunt Gee.

There is a sacredness in tears.
They are not the mark of weakness, but of power.
They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues.
They are messengers of overwhelming grief ...
and unspeakable love.
- Washington Irving
It's been two years ago today Madelon that you left us and there are still tears and grief. But I do take comfort in God's Word when he says one day there will be no more death, pain, sorrow, or crying. God has written the final chapter, and it is about true fulfilment and eternal joy. Until we meet again we will be forever missing and loving you.

"Merry Christmas Madelon"
Unto us a Savior is born and He is Christ the Lord.
Like every Christmas we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Holidays are a challenge sometimes as memories flood the mind with love ones no longer with us. Some things will never be the same without you, but we have much to be thankful for and new beginnings to celebrate, such as the wedding of Mason and Rachel in September 2018. We miss you and the joy you brought to our lives. Love you, Aunt Gee.

Happy Birthday Madelon
It's been almost two years now, yet there are days I am still overcome with grief and sorrow that you are not here with us. One day I will see you again and we will rejoice, and nothing will ever take away our joy again.
Love and miss you so much.

Come With Me
After weeks of praying for
Answers and healing we rushed
to be at your bedside.
The Lord saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
so He put his arms around you
and whispered, "Come with me"
With tearful eyes,we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
a beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove
only He knows best.
It's lonesome here without you
we miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same
since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely,
we seem to hear you whisper,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's care,
we'll meet again someday."

We began 2016 with losing you on the first day of the year and ended by losing mom at the end of the year. God has challenged us all to be strong and courageous this past year. We look forward to a glorious reunion one day, until then we will be forever loving you and missing you.

"YOUR MOTHER IS ALWAYS WITH YOU"
She's the whisper of the leaves as you hear the rustling of the trees. She's the laughter in the rushing water on fun filled hazy, crazy days. She's the smell of bleach in your freshly laundered socks. She's the smell of certain foods you remember. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She's crystalized in every tear drop.. A mother shows every emotion...happiness, sadness, fear, jealousy, love, hate, anger helplessness, excitement, joy, sorrow...and all the while hoping and praying you will only know the good feelings in life. She loved you right from the start. She's your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space...Not even death...will ever separate you from your mother or her love...
You carry her inside of you always...
