Pamela Moody Obituary
While Pam spent the past nineteen years serving as the receptionist at Western Alamance Middle School, her passion was giving back to and caring for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife of forty years to her husband, Ronnie, and dedicated mother not only to her daughter, Addie, but to countless other children who were a part of her life. Her selfless generosity and abounding love were felt by all who crossed her path. Pam was a member of Glencoe Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Dean Moody, and her daughter, Adrianne Joy Moody; sisters, Scarlett Lancaster (Ken) and Lisa Barker-Mullen (Christian); brother, Dennis Barker; sisters- and brothers- in-law, June and Larry Long, and Ricky and Jodi Moody; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Malloy Barker, and mother, Gladys Frances Pruitt Cates, father-in-law, Clyde Thomas Moody, and mother-in-law, Grace Brewer Moody; and beloved cousin, Pruitt Allen Rainey.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors David Gordon and Mark Gunn with burial to follow at Bethlehem Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Pam Moody Fund for Children at Western Alamance Middle School, 2100 Eldon Drive, Elon, NC 27244.

I knew Mrs. Moody a couple of decades ago from growing up in Glencoe Baptist Church as well as going to Western Middle. I haven't seen her in a long time but I often scroll through the obits to see who I may know and I came across this; I thought I should say something. My condolences to Mrs. Moody's family and friends. I am saddened to hear this and hope all are surrounded by love in this trying time.

Ronnie and Addie I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Moody was such a ray of sunshine every time I entered WAMS. She made sure she knew who I was and who my child (JT) was within a couple of weeks of his 6th grade year. If I saw her out side of WAMS (Harbor Inn Seafood)she always made sure she asked about our son. I say our son because she made sure that our son was taken care of out of my presence or in my presence. She will be extremely missed and please know that she was truly loved by the Woods family. Our prayers will be with you always. And thank you for sharing an amazing spirit with us and our children. God bless.
