Teresa Owens Obituary
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Morris Bradley "Mike" Owens and Texie Brown Owens, who survives.
Terry loved her animals, music and photography. She was known for her generous heart and was a devoted daughter and sister.
In addition to her mother of Haw River, survivors include her sisters, Margaret Fleck of Apex, Patricia O. Terry and husband Don of Wendell and Mary Pamela Owens of Haw River; brother, Timothy Michael Owens and wife Kim of Cary; and four nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Faith Owens of Cookeville, TN, Kathryn Terry Pollara, husband Justin and son Jonah of Raleigh, Jason Southworth of California and John Michael Owens of the U.S. Army.
The funeral service will be conducted at Beacon Baptist Church on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1 p.m. by Reverend Greg Barkman with the family receiving friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington is assisting the family.

Terry was a special cousin, always a delightful conversationalist, with knowledgeable comments which often were followed by sensitive and witty comments! She had the gift of bearing her multiple health problems without complaint, and was generous and caring. Her nuclear family were especially close and supportive of one another.
Terry appreciated the gift of God's world and her fascination with photography enabled her to share this perspective with others, We are grateful to have had her as a cousin, and she will be greatly missed.
Condolences to her family, especially to her dear mother and to her sister, Patricia, with whom she shared a bond known only by twins. Her sisters, Margaret and Pam, and her brother, Tim, along with nieces, nephews and cousins mourn her untimely death. We are grateful for the gift of having had Terry in our family, and she will be remembered with love.
