Wally Boyer Obituary
A native of Trenton, NJ, he was the husband of Linda Matherly Boyer and the son of the late Francis Eugene Boyer and the late Mary Margaret Mihok Boyer.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy Reserves and former employee of J.R. Tobacco Warehouse.
In addition to his wife of the home, Wally is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Poag of Elon; two sons, Dan Flood of Liberty and Tony Johnson and his wife Sherry of Graham; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
They will be at his residence at other times.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Reverend Don Pegg.
A private committal service will be held later in the day.
