Peggy Ann Whitworth

Mrs. Peggy Ann Harri-
son Whitworth, age 85, of
Toccoa, passed away Sat-
urday, July 5, 2025 at the
Clary Care Center.
Born October 11, 1939 in
Toccoa, she was the
daughter of the late Robert
Paul and Jimmie Camp
Harrison.
She was a member of
Carnes Creek Baptist
Church and worked at
Wrights Manufacturing
for a number of years.
Peggy retired from Wal-
mart as a Department
Manager. She loved cook-
ing and gardening. Peggys
greatest joy was her chil-
dren, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and
great-great-grandchildren.
Family members in-
clude her children,
LeDeana Waters of Bre-
men, GA, Keith Whit-
worth and Tammy of Bald-
win, GA, Kelly Dickinson
and Doug of Carrollton,
GA, and Tonya Hearn of
Zebulon, GA; 11 grandchil-
dren; 19 great-grandchil-
dren; 6 great-great-grand-
children; brothers and sis-
ters-in-law, Anthony Har-
rison and Terri of Supply,
NC and Tommy Harrison
and Linda of Lyman, SC;
and her sister-in-law Betty
Harrison Smith of Toccoa.
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by her husband,
Joel Dean Whitworth;
brother Paul Harrison;
and a great-grandson,
Boston Perry.
The family will receive
friends at the mortuary
from 10 am until 11:45 am
Saturday, July 12, 2025,
Graveside services will
be held at 12 noon Satur-
day, July 12, 2025 at Rose-
lane Cemetery with the
Rev. Jerrell Beatty offici-
ating.
The following gentle-
men will serve as pallbear-
ers; Zack Whitworth, Wes-
ley Dickinson, Tyler Dick-
inson, Priest Perry, Kenny
Harrison, and Matthew
Harrison.
