Mr. Phillip "Phil" Mor-
ris Grafton, age 75, of
Fighting Pine Road, Toc-
coa, passed away Tuesday,
April 4, 2023 at his resi-
dence surrounded by his
loving family.
A son of the late Joe P.
Grafton, Sr. and Jewell
Ivester Grafton, he was
born March 8, 1948 in
Stephens County, Georgia,
where he lived all his life.
He was a veteran of the
U.S. Army, having served
in Vietnam. He was re-
tired from Grafton Lum-
ber Company as a sales
representative with many
years of service. He was a
member of Rock Creek
Baptist Church and the Se-
nior Adult Men's Sunday
School Class. He loved be-
ing outdoors, especially
tending to his garden. He
was a loving husband, fa-
ther, grandfather, great-
grandfather and brother
and was a friend to so
many.
In addition to his par-
ents, he was preceded in
death by his siblings,
Frances Capes, Mary
Crunkleton, J.P. Grafton,
Jr. and Hal Grafton.
Survivors include his
loving wife of the home,
Lynn Pacetti Grafton;
daughters and sons-in-law,
Heather Warnock and
Mary Ann Hill both of Toc-
coa, Brooke and John Low-
den of Homer, Ga. and Kel-
ly and Rick Seymour of
Auburn, Ala.; two sons,
Aaron Warnock and Ben-
jamin Warnock both of
Toccoa; brothers and sis-
ters-in-law, Aubrey and
Laura Grafton, Roger and
Donna Grafton and Wayne
and Karel Grafton all of
Toccoa; sisters and broth-
er-in-law, Elizabeth Jar-
rett of Toccoa and Linda
and Michael Whitfield of
Knoxville, Tenn.; grand-
children, Ashley Hill,
Leslie Voyles and Kimber-
ley Hill, all of Toccoa,
Robert, Madison and Syd-
ney Lowden of Atlanta
Ga., and Elizabeth and
Aidan Symore of Auburn,
Ala.; great-grandchildren,
Jackson and Josephine
Voyles and Scarlett Scott
and Elizabeth Williamson.
Funeral services will be
Friday, April 7, 2023, at 2
p.m. at the Rock Creek
Baptist Church with the
Rev. Ken Jackson and the
Rev. Jerrell Beatty offici-
ating. The following gen-
tlemen will serve as pall-
bearers: Tyler Voyles, Dy-
lan Scott, Scott Jarrett,
Keith Grafton, John Low-
den and Jason Grafton.
The family will receive
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Thurs-
day, 5-7 p.m. and on Friday
from 12-1:25 p.m. Online
