Ronnie Joe Mans

Mr. Ronnie Joe Mans,
age 71, of South River
Trail, Martin, passed away
Monday, July 14, 2025, at
his residence.
A son of the late
Chester Mans and Cora
Bell Murray Mans, he was
born May 28, 1954, in
Stephens County, Georgia,
where he lived all his life.
He was employed with
Southern Craftsman for a
number of years before re-
tiring to take care of his
mother and family. He was
of the Baptist faith. He
loved his Jeep, Lazy Bones
and loved going to the
races at Toccoa Speedway
and Lavonia Speedway.
He loved meeting people
and never met a stranger.
He was a loving husband,
father, grandfather, great-
grandfather and brother.
In addition to his par-
ents, he was preceded in
death by his brothers,
Chester Mans, Jr. "Red",
George Mans, and Jerry
Mans and his sisters, Bon-
nie Mans and Mildred
Mans Afrlin.
Survivors include his
wife of the home, Darlene
Bohannon Manns; sons
and daughters-in-law,
Ronnie Manns, Jr. (Shan-
non), of Lavonia, Joshua
Manns (Shelly), of Toccoa
and Adam Manns
(Ashley), Mt. Airy; grand-
children, Liberty Haler
(Caleb), Destiny Manns,
Cambree Schmid, Zachery
Manns, and Hunter Aber-
nathy; great-granddaugh-
ter, Olivia Haler, "Toot
Toot"; sisters and broth-
ers-in-law, Jeanie and
George Bohannon, Linda
Sellers, and Joanie and
Bill Moss; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Roy and Brenda
Mans; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services were
held Friday, July 18, 2025,
at 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest
Chapel of the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home with the
Rev. Ray Bohannon offici-
ating. The following gen-
tlemen served as pallbear-
ers: Zachery Manns, Caleb
Haler, Jimmy Clord,
Kevin Bohannon, Shane
Folds, Matt Bohannon,
Eric Bohannon and
Matthew Tice.
The family received
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Thurs-
day, from 6-8 p.m. Online

Interment followed in
the Roselane Cemetery
with the Acree-Davis Fu-
neral Home and Cremato-
ry in charge of the ar-
rangements for Mr. Ron-
nie Joe Mans.
