Sherry Crawford Pitts

Mrs. Sherry Crawford
Pitts, age 69, of Mize Road,
Toccoa, passed away Tues-
day, Sept. 24, 2024 at the
Northeast Georgia Medi-
cal Center Gainesville.
A daughter of the late
Clyde C. Crawford and
Laura Mae Davis Craw-
ford, she was born Dec. 26,
1954, in Stephens County,
Ga., where she lived all
her life. She was a member
of Sunnyside Baptist
Church where she sang in
the choir. She was also a
member of the Red Hat
Ladies and a member of
the Singing Saints Choir.
She loved to cook and do
cross stitch and going to
dinner with her "old
ladies". She loved every-
one and always put others
first.
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by a sister, Mary
Charles.
Survivors include her
daughter and son-in-law,
Amanda and Jason Skel-
ton of Mt. Airy, Ga.; son
and daughter-in-law, John
and Amanda Pitts of John-
stown, Pa.; grandchildren,
Bruce Queen, Jay Skelton,
Annabelle Skelton, Au-
tumn Pitts, Aubree Pitts
and Styx Pitts; sister, Vir-
ginia Smith of Toccoa.
Funeral services were
held Sunday, Sept. 29,
2024, at 4 p.m. in the Hill-
crest Chapel of the Acree-
Davis Funeral Home with
the Rev. Dr. Jesse Colbert
and the Rev. Bruce Queen
officiating. The following
gentlemen served as pall-
bearers; Bruce Queen, Jay
Skelton, Jason Skelton,
Rodney Burdette, Buddy
Phillips and Chris
Stephens.
The family received
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Sunday
from 2 p.m. until the ser-

Church Cemetery with the
