Vivien Elaine Moore
Payne Howard, aged 73, of
Martin, passed away on
Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at
Providence Health Care in
Sparta.
Born on Aug. 4, 1952, in
Oxford, England, Vivien
was the daughter of the
late James Albert Moore
and Mozelle Willis Gay-
heart. She dedicated her
professional life to Mc-
Cord-Wynn, where she re-
tired as a operator.
Vivien was known for
her love of shopping and
was an avid reader. She
found joy and relaxation
in coloring. Her faith was
a cornerstone of her life,
and she was a devoted
member of the Rock Quar-
ry Congregational Holi-
ness Church.
Vivien leaves behind a
loving family who will for-
ever cherish her memory.
She is survived by her
husband, David Howard;
daughters, Tabatha (Russ)
Adams, and Michelle
(Kevin) Smith; son, Josh
(Brandy) Payne; 11 grand-
children; and seven great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by her beloved
daughter, Melissa
Howard, her great-grand-
daughter, Riverlyn
Adams, and brother Kerry
Moore.
In accordance with her
request, Vivien will be
cremated, and no public
services will be held at
this time.
