Willam Bell Obituary
Bell, age 88, of Eastanollee,
passed away Sunday, Feb.
2, 2025, at The Clary Care
Center.
Born March 28, 1936, in
Atlanta, Ga., he was the
son of the late Isom "I.L."
and Irene Morgan Bell.
Mr. Bell served in the
United States Army Re-
serves and was a member
of Tom's Creek Baptist
Church. He owned Bell's
Gas & Grocery, and served
as a Stephens County
Commissioner for one
term. He also worked for
Georgia Power, WABCO
and the Georgia Baptist
Assembly.
Family members in-
clude his sons, William
David Bell (Pamela) and
Dennis Bell (Cherilyn);
grandson, William Hunter
Bell (Haley); great-grand-
children, Kara L. Bell and
Floyd H. Bell; sisters,
Juanita Worley and Bar-
bara Ann Dooley; broth-
ers, James Bell and Joe
Bell (Linda); and numer-
ous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
In addition to his par-
ents, he was preceded in
death by his wife, Patricia
Anne Sheriff Bell; sister,
Jimmie Alewine; and
brother, Thomas Bell.
The family received
friends at the mortuary
from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday,
Feb. 4, 2025, and from 1
p.m. until the service hour
Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025.
Funeral services were
held at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
Feb. 5, 2025, from the
Chapel of Whitlock Mortu-
ary with the Rev. Jewell
Gaines, the Rev. Wayne
Marcus and Mr. Fred
Williams officiating.
Burial followed at
Stephens Memorial Gar-
dens with the Rev. Wayne
Marcus officiating.
Rex Dooley, Terry Doo-
ley, T. R. Dooley, Derek
Bell, Adrian Sheriff and
Kevin Bell served as pall-
bearers. William Hunter
Bell served as an honorary
pallbearer.
The family would like
to say a special thank you
to the staff of the Wilkin-
son Center and the Clary
Care Center for the care,
love and respect they gave
to Mr. Bell.
The family respectfully
requests no flowers.
Memorial donations may

dren's Research Hospital
