Bobby Lee Hamm

January 7, 2025

SHADY VALLEY - Bobby Lee Hamm, age 92 and a veteran of the Vietnam War, entered into rest on January 7, 2025 at his home in Shady Valley, Tennessee. Bob was born January 17, 1932 to the late Charlie Enoch Hamm and the late Clyda C Eastridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters.

He was married to Louise Marie Jackson for 67 years. He had two sons, Gary W. Hamm and Eric Lee Hamm CW5 (Janette) living in Syrma, Delaware. Grandsons, Gary W. Hamm II, Brayden L Hamm; granddaughter, Alexes Hamm; one great granddaughter, Karadin Leigh Hamm; three sisters, Ruby Lee, Carol Long and Peggy Cool (Paul) and brother, R. Carl Hamm, who is 97 years old and is a World War II Veteran.

Bob worked for NSA Department of Defense and was manager for Giant Food Stores in the Washington, DC area for several years. He was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He will be laid to rest in the Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025 with military honors accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
