Annie McDow Obituary

Annie McDow, age 92, of Pineville entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at Tioga Manor Nursing Home in Tioga, LA.
Annie was born on October 06, 1917 in Junction City, Arkansas. She was blessed with eight children, sixteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was retired from Pinecrest State School after 23 years of dedicated service where she was known as "Mama Mac" to the little boys for whom she cared.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Wells McDow, daughter, Claudette Knight, son, Paul McDow, four grandchildren, Donald Knight, Wendell Schirmer, Michael Martin and Freddie French, two great grandchildren, Justin Padget and Morgan Palmer and six siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Douglas McDow (Marilyn), Tuscan, Arizona, Betty Palmer, Dalton, Georgia, Patsy Martin (Johnny), Berryville, Arkansas, Geri Autrey (Norris), Vinton, Julie French, Pineville, Debbie McDow, Ball; one brother, Bill Douglas, Nacogdoches, Texas; twelve grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren..
Private memorial services will be held for the family.
