Curtis Beard Obituary
Funeral services for Curtis Beard will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2012, in the chapel of Kramer of Fifth Ward, with Bones Walters of the Christian Motorcycle Association officiating.
Mr. Beard, 54, of Marksville, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He had 24 years of service for the Louisiana Hydro Electric Company in Vidalia, Louisiana. Mr. Beard was the Head Road Captain for the Renegade Hog Chapter in Alexandria. He loved life and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his wife, Lorrie A. Beard of Marksville; two daughters, Jennifer Beard of Marksville, and Tarra Juneau and husband Douglas of New Iberia; three grandchildren, Douglas Juneau, Jr., Payton Juneau, and Phenyx Juneau, all of New Iberia; one brother, Larry Beard and wife Debbie of Ponchatoula; one sister, Jo Ann Newman and husband Bill of Hammond; and his mother, Mildred Shelton Mills of Hammond.
He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Beard; and his brother, Dennis Beard.
Visitation will be held 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012, and 10 a.m. until time of service, Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Kramer of Fifth Ward.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Webb, Mike McDonald, Dan Fontenot, John Martin, Roy Ray Nash, Bobby Sebastian, Dale Methvin, James Doughty, Douglas Juneau, and Ricky LeMaster.

Lorrie i only knew "Curt " this is how i referred to him, for a very short time and in this time i found him to be a man of his word and if and when he said he was an on time person . Lorrie in out conversation i said to you that you have to be a strong believer more so now it,s on ur wacth ,But(God knows best)and say each time it hits you and it will " There,s no God like Jehorah" cry out he understands us.
