Doris Deville Paul

Services for Doris Paul will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Longview Baptist Church, Deville, Louisiana, with Reverends Robbie Poole and Steve Speer, officiating. Burial will be at Paul Cemetery, Deville, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until10:00 p.m., and Saturday, August 25, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church.

Mrs. Paul, 86, of Deville, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012, after a short illness.

She was a member of Longview Baptist Church. Mrs. Paul was a beautician and housewife during her working years. She loved her family and loved going to church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Jo Ed Paul; her parents, Henry & Adeline Deville; brother, Earl Deville; sisters, Janie Deville & Edith Mabou.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jerry Wayne Paul & wife Debra, Greg Paul & wife Debra; daughters, Beverly Jo Urbina, Kathy Walker & husband Alan, Renee Chappell & husband Les; brother John Henry Deville; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Floyd, Jody Floyd, Jeffrey Floyd, Wayne Paul, Kevin Paul, and Jakob Paul. Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Walker, Les Chappell David Deville, Gerald Mabou, Steve Deville, Terry Allwell, Gary Paul, David Paul, and Roger Paul.

Memorials may be made to the Longview Baptist Church 973 Hwy 1207, Deville, LA 71328.
