Elaine Rayburn Obituary
Services for Elaine McNeal Rayburn will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2015, in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Jerry Crise officiating. Burial will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be observed from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Jeffrey Rayburn, Jacob Rayburn, Ferd Smith, Mark Fitzwater, Jeff Richardson and Wayne Williamson.
Elaine McNeal Rayburn, 90, of Kolin, passed from this life on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Oak Haven Community Care Center.
Mrs. Rayburn retired from Roy O. Martin Lumber Company and The Summit Retirement Center. She was a perfectionist at her work and worked until the age of 87. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Jack Rayburn; parents, Will and Ola Lewis McNeal; brothers, Ercil, Bodie and Billy McNeal and sisters, Colleen Ballard and Nedra Webb.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jack Rhett Rayburn and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jeffery Rayburn and wife, Taylor, Jacob Rayburn; great grandchildren, Kaylee Rayburn, Hayzen Rayburn and Holden Rayburn; sisters, June Fitzwater and Joy Friday and a host of other family members and friends.

So sad for your loss. Nana lived a good and faithful life. I will miss her and am so glad I got to see her one last time before she passed on. May God rest her soul and bless those she left behind,

So sorry to hear of Nana's passing. I worked with her at The Summit for many years. I went to see her on Labor Day at Oak Haven but she was sleeping. She will be dearly missed.
