Gramps will be missed. He was a fine, nice gentleman. Reminded me so much of my own father. Good stock those men were.

It was an honor to have known Mr. Welch. I will always remember his speech to our students at Buckeye High School on Veterans day. I also had the privilege of coaching his son Grady Jr at Pineville High School. My sincere condolences.

All we in the Louisiana Baptist Convention owe a great deal to Grady Welch and the fine work he did! He was a wonderful and faithful servant. I can't help but imagine what heaven might be like for him with all the people he helped to win through gifts of administration and preaching. God bless your family with gracious comfort.
