Henry Hilton Obituary
Alexandria - Graveside Military and Rapides Parish Sheriffs Department Honors's services for Henry "Tommy" Hilton, will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Fellowship Cemetery, Hineston, with Chaplain Danny George officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Tommy passed away peacefully with family and friends in his heart.
Tommy proudly served our country from September 1962 to November 1985 in the United States Air Force. Master Sergeant E7, Classified Electronics Tech, Top Secret Department Clearance, served in Viet Nam; Japan; Philippines; Thailand; Alaska and too many other states to list. Some of the few of many awards he received are, Good Conduct Medal; Marksmanship Medal; Viet Nam service medal; Viet Nam Campaign Medal; Outstanding Unit Award; National Defense Ribbon, and Presidential Unit Citation. Tommy also proudly served his communities in Benton County Sheriff's Office in Corvallis, OR from December 1984 to June 1985; Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office from December 1, 1989 to July 1, 2006; Corrections Officer; Road Crew Supervisor and water Patrol/Search and Rescue. He was on the Board of the Elmer-Melder-Calcasieu water system, Board of Directors.
Tommy graduated 1962, from Winnfield Senior High School; Oregon Police Academy, Linn Benton Community College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, with a Major in Law Enforcement and the Louisiana Police Academy. He belonged to the Am Vets, Louisiana Cattleman's Association, Life member of Bass Masters and the NRA.
Tommy will meet his love, Mary Jo Hilton and great grandson, Beckett West in heaven. He leaves behind family, children, step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We lost a good man in Tommy Hilton.
Words are not enough to touch on the good he done for the community and his work in Law Enforcement. Will be sorely missed. R.I.P. Mr Tommy
