John Clements DeFee

A Mass of Christian Burial for John Clements DeFee will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Rev. Adam Travis officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Cemetery, Montgomery, under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, and resume on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

John Clements DeFee, 67, of Natchitoches, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015, in his residence.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucile Clements DeFee.

Johnny loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He was always ready to babysit and help at a moment's notice. He loved being with his brother, Billy. John was a huge LSU fan and was a graduate of Bolton and University of Northeast Louisiana. John was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and attended The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches. John was a regular attendee of Manresa.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Todd Patrick DeFee of Natchitoches and Rebecca Claire Frankie, and husband, Cort, of Altus, OK; brother, William Jackson DeFee, MD, and wife, Leta Adele, of Alexandria, LA; sister, Janet DeFee Brumley Wallace and husband, Jack, of Montgomery, AL ; maternal aunt, Wilton Clements Graves, of Nashville, AK; 4 grandchildren, Ella Camille DeFee, Caitlyn Frankie, Margaret Claire Frankie, and Luke Frankie; along with numerous extended family.

Pallbearers honored to serve include Danny Graves, Jimmy Graves, Larry Graves, Mike Graves, Andy Graves, and Chris Soprano.

Honorary Pallbearers include Bill Dick, Louis Graves, Steven Graves, and Chris Thompson.
