Kenneth M. Trahan

Funeral Services for Mr. Kenneth M. Trahan, 50, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at McGuire Methodist Church in West Monroe with Josh Milliron officiating. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015, following noon to 2:00 p.m. visitation and 2:00 p.m. mass at Saints Peter and Paul in Scott, LA.

Ken grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Holy Savior Menard High School. He received a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law School. After law school Ken moved to West Monroe where he married his wife Dawn and opened his law practice. Ken was an active member of McGuire Methodist Church. Ken was an avid hunter and golfer. His favorite times were spent at the camp with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Trahan and brother, Al Trahan.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Moorhead Trahan; daughters, Mary Margaret and Tori Trahan; sons, Blair Trahan and Corey McCarty; father, Edward Buddie Trahan; brother, Ed Trahan (Mia); sisters, Judy Wostel, Toni Shirley (Bill) and Debbie Wells (Howard) and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers for Scott, LA will be Corey McCarty, Beaux Menard, Todd Trahan, Matt Shirley, Jamie Landry and Andre Trahan.

He fought the good fight, finished the course and kept the faith- Timothy 4:7
