She is preceded in death by her biological father, Hanson Joe Landry and her stepfather, Burton Anthony Bordelon, grandparents Joe and Arizona Brossett, two maternal aunts Ann Bradford and Lois Johnson, and four maternal uncles, Ernest Brossett, Joe Dewey Brossett, Roy Brossett, and Joe Nathan Brossett.

She is survived by her loving children Kim Lea Goyne of Shreveport and Clint Duane Burleigh of Lafayette, mother Lola Bordelon of Ball, brother Larry Landry of Pineville, and two sisters, Burta McDaniel (Gary) of Pineville and Annette Arthur (Theodore) of Prairieville, and Aunt Mildred Dubroc (UL) of Ball and also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place for Linda Landry Burleigh at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana on July 15, 2016 with fellowship beginning at 5:00 P.M. followed by the service at 6:00 P.M. with Bishop David Roberts officiating.

Linda was very much thought of me thru-out my life! She was truly a best friend when we were in high school at Tioga High. How many trips we walked between her home and mine while we both were teenagers..I could not count! She was always a fine and proud person...she had integrity, even as a young girl. That's why I loved her so much! My soul knows that I will see her again...I am very saddened for her sweet Mother, Mrs. BORDELEON and her children. (She had beautiful and shapely legs and very beautiful hair!) She has always been regarded as a best friend to me..even when we had lost touch. I loved Linda as a person and as a friend! I am so very sorry that this world is now without such a wonderful girl! Susie Lyngle Johnson
