Lisa Serrato Obituary
Funeral services for Lisa Lynn Serrato will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Lecompte with Brother Lee Taylor officiating. Committal service will follow in the Paul Cemetery in Forest Hill under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Lisa, 45, of Forest Hill, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was born February 25, 1972 in Alexandria to Robert Ernest Treadwell and Ethel Cole Treadwell. She was a Baptist by faith and worked in the nurseries in Forest Hill. "Child of the Woods" - she loved hunting, fishing and spending time with nature. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them all. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Connie Cole.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: one son, Johnathan Serrato of Forest Hill; one daughter, Brittney Serrato and Payten Tarver of Alexandria; her mother, Ethel Treadwell of Lecompte; one brother, Gary Treadwell and Cynthia of Ball; lifelong best friend, Bill Burns of Larto Lake; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Chris Doyle, Artimeo Beltran, Luis Garcia, Thomas Treadwell, Columbus Rhame, and James Cooper.
Visitation will be held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the church.

There are so many memories that I could share but the one I think Lisa talked about more was the time she and I caught an alligator in my back yard! We lived on the bayou and we used a fishing pole and a hot dog and actually caught it!!! Omg we were so excited! Lisa I am going to miss you so very much! Love you my sweet big hearted friend!!!

Nancy will miss her coming visit us once or twice a week. She would always bring us some of her great cooking. She was a very generous, kind loving person. Rest in Peace.
